Children are so loved and valued at Oak Park!
Nursery - a fun and safe environment for our littlest friends, ages 0-4, during the Sunday service
Children’s Church - a dynamic learning time planned especially for kiddos ages 4 years to 5th grade, during the second half of Sunday service

Any students entering 6th-12th grade are invited to join youth activities:
Bible Study - Every Thursday from 6:30-8pm students learn about the Bible and what it means to follow Jesus through fun activities, games, discussion and prayer.
4th Friday - In order to give teens a safe space on a Friday night, every 4th Friday of each month, students are invited to a casual hangout time to play video games, board games, basketball and other activities in the church’s gym from 6:30-8:30pm.
· Once a month Oak Park’s youth group also spends time together during events and outings such as hiking, board game nights, movie nights, beach trips, etc.
· The week before the 4th of July the students help run a firework tent in order to help fund trips to camp, missions trips, conferences, etc.

We have “adopted” a local elementary school who we support in many ways — financially supporting projects, sending volunteers to help with events such as Field Day and Outdoor School, supplying requested classroom supplies, etc.
-
Every Thursday from 10am to 2pm, we are hosting The Wellness Table, a resource hub for our unhoused neighbors. We provide food and beverages, and community partners come to offer direct services to our guests. Guests have access to supplies necessary for living outside, showers, and many resources directly available through partner representatives.

Oak Park cares deeply about the safety and peace of its neighborhood, East Salem. On the fourth Thursday of each month, we participate in Peace Walk Salem.
Peace Walk Salem meets at the Big Lots parking lot on the corner of Sunnyview and Lancaster at 7pm. The group walks about 1 mile through the neighborhood to engage neighbors, share info, and promote peace.
